Hello! I’m Mako!
My journey began by licensing and reviving Dungeon Rampage, under contract with Gamebreaking Studios. I’ve contributed to nearly every aspect of its development—from game design and programming to art and marketing—but my core strength lies in designing engaging systems that bring people together.
I thrive on exploring how different disciplines shape a game’s experience, and I’m always looking to learn, iterate, and create something worth remembering.

Projects

In Dungeon Rampage, I contribute as a Generalist. I initially tinkered with the pre-existing proprietary tools, that hold all the Game Values to see how Art, Design and Code Interact, being able to have a foundational overview of how the whole gameplay architecture was built.
We work with a lot of proprietary and outdated tools, that are frustrated to use. Part of my work included re-documenting these pipelines and tools, and updating some of our Design & Art Tools to the modern equivalent.
Additionally, I was responsible for the cutting down of content for our Demo Launch, as well as the general strategy of our Steam Platform, which amassed over 100k wishlists in less than a year.
Design wise, I am working on the new Monetization & Economy design of the game, as we swapped from a Free To Play to a Premium title.
